ESET Smart Security 3.0 is a full package to help you defend against Internet threats.
It serves as firewall, anti-virus and anti-spam program. It´s updated everyday via Internet, to ensure you have the ultimate available protection. We installed ESET Smart Security 3.0.642, but it became instantly ESET Smart Security 3.0.650 after the update.
When you install ESET Smart Security 3.0 you must provide the username and password you got when you purchased it. If you´re installing a trial version, the program will input them for you, but they will be valid only for 69 days.
When installed, the program will remain as an icon in your taskbar, running in the background. Double-clicking on that icon will allow you to get into the program. You have two display modes: Standard and Advanced. The Standard Mode doesn´t allow you to touch anything (the smartest thing, in most cases), the Advanced Mode lets you choose some settings.
ESET licenses this product on a yearly basis. If you want to purchase less than 5 licenses, you need to apply for the "Home Edition". If you need 5 or more licenses, you must purchase the "Business Edition". They are the same product, only the price varies. |
